      That sounds unusual general you would disconnect the roof controller

    Hi I have been looking at your website and was wondering if you could help me with a fault I have with my Astra Convertible?

    When I try to open the electric roof using the switch on the dash it unlocks the front of the roof raises the rear of roof lifts the boot compartment ready to accept the roof but then when the roof tries to fold back it back into boot compartment it seems to stall and then the front of roof bangs back down onto the catches at the front and then there is loads of beeping and it just freezes. I then gave up on opening it so shut it and luckily it has shut again but I have noticed that the passenger side roof catch doesn`t seem to lock the roof down securely? Do you think something has broken or does roof just need to be reset? Also this has only started happening after the battery ran down due to leaving sidelights on! Could this be linked to the roof fault??
